Macie Hofilena, MLS

Macie currently serves as the Director of Operations at Buchanan Wealth Partners. Simultaneously, Macie is pursuing her Series 65 license in hopes of transitioning into an advisory role within the firm. To further enhance the services she provides, Macie is committed to earning additional securities licenses as well as credentials that will enable her to offer insurance and annuity solutions to clients. By expanding her credentials, Macie will be better suited to craft well-rounded, personalized financial solutions designed to meet the unique goals of each client.

Alongside leading the Operations Department, Macie helps create personalized financial plans tailored to each client’s goals. Macie is passionate about fostering strong client relationships built on trust, clarity, and long-term vision. Macie is currently working under the mentorship of Steve Buchanan, gaining deeper insight into applying holistic and tax-efficient approaches to financial planning. She strives to empower clients by translating complex strategies into actionable steps that align with both their financial and personal values.

Macie entered her role at Buchanan Wealth Partners with previous paraplanning experience gained at a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). Prior to that, she worked in banking compliance, where she developed a strong regulatory perspective and a commitment to inclusive financial engagement and community reinvestment. This early foundation in financial planning and client service equips Macie with a multidisciplinary approach to designing personalized solutions that align with each client’s unique goals.

Macie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Christian University and continued her education at Texas A&M University School of Law, earning a Master of Legal Studies degree with a concentration in Wealth Management.

Outside of her professional work, Macie enjoys traveling and spending time with her two dogs, Holly and Mabel. She is also passionate about strengthening her community through active volunteer work with Academy 4, Junior Achievement of the Chisholm Trail, and the Rutledge Cancer Foundation. Her dedication to volunteerism reflects a belief in the power of community support, while her commitment to lifelong learning fuels her growth in the financial services industry.
